I am a playwright and actor living in Los Angeles, CA. Mostly a playwright.

Premiering this June in the Hollywood Fringe Festival: my new play Overlay.

Since 2010, I’ve been a resident playwright at SkyPilot Theatre, which premiered two of my plays in 2012, KONG: A Goddamn Thirty-Foot Gorilla, and Earthbound, a musical for which I collaborated with Jonathan Price and Chana Wise. In 2015, SkyPilot presented my new play The Mermaid Wars in the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

My plays Frogger and Dear Abe have received workshop productions at Studio Roanoke in Roanoke, VA. My play Feedback Loop premiered at the 2010 Hollywood Fringe Festival. My ten-minute and one-act scripts have been produced by theatres across the United States.

In 2011, I completed my MFA at the Hollins University Playwright’s Lab.

As an actor, I’ve appeared in productions of the University of Iowa, in the Iowa Fringe Festival, and in the Piccolo Spoleto fringe theatre festival. I starred in my play Dear Abe at Studio Roanoke. I also perform long-form improv and am a graduate of the training program at iO West.

hahnHeadshotSince 1999, I’ve been involved on-and-off wth No Shame Theatre, a grassroots theatre network that provides a venue for short and experimental works. I’ve performed on No Shame stages in five states, including the “National Best of No Shame” showcases in the Piccolo Spoleto fringe theatre festival. As a member of the No Shame Iowa City executive board, I produced the twentieth anniversary “Best Of the Best Of No Shame” and a weeklong festival of special performances in Iowa City in October, 2006. I have also been a producer of No Shame Los Angeles.
